Terms of Service

1. The platform and these terms

The exchange is an online venue operated by Cargo Market that connects shippers who need transport with carriers who have capacity. We provide the marketplace; we are an intermediary and are not a carrier, freight forwarder or a party to the transport contracts that users conclude with one another.

2. Accounts and eligibility

To post, make offers or transact you must register an account and act in a professional capacity · as a company, or as a self-employed operator trading under your own name. You must provide accurate, up-to-date information, keep your login credentials confidential, and ensure you are authorised to act for the company you represent. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

3. Listings and offers

You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of everything you post, including prices, dates, cargo details and any GDP or cold-chain claims, which must be truthful. Price indications on the board are not binding until a deal is confirmed. We may verify, moderate, decline or remove any listing, and suspend features, to protect the integrity of the exchange.

4. Deals between users

When an offer is accepted, a deal is formed directly between the shipper and the carrier. The resulting transport contract is between those two parties. We are not a party to it and are not responsible for its performance, including pickup, delivery, payment, delay, loss or damage. Each party remains responsible for its own licences, insurance, ADR obligations, customs formalities and GDP compliance.

5. Trust, reviews and ratings

Reviews must be honest and based on a real, completed deal. Company ratings are computed from reviews and completed deals, and they never affect where a listing appears. Listings are ordered by recency and departure date and by nothing else · not by payment, rating, verification or who owns the listing. We may remove reviews that are abusive, fraudulent or not based on a genuine transaction.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading or unlawful information, or offer cargo you may not lawfully transport.
• Misuse another user’s personal data or contact details, or contact counterparties for purposes unrelated to a deal.
• Scrape, harvest or use automated means to access the service in a way that harms it, or attempt to circumvent its security.
• Impersonate any person or company, or send spam or infringing content.

7. Fees

The exchange is free to use: no subscription, and no paid placement in search or ranking. If we introduce optional paid features in the future, we will make their terms clear before you use them.

8. Availability and changes

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We work to keep it reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may change, suspend or discontinue features.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the conduct of users, the content of listings, or the performance of deals concluded between users. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for intent, gross negligence or personal injury. Your mandatory statutory rights are not affected.

10. Suspension and termination

You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the exchange unlawfully. After termination we retain certain records as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Reporting a listing, and contesting a decision

If you believe a listing is fraudulent, unlawful or misleading, we want to know. A reporting control on each listing, and a published address for notices, are being set up together with the operating entity and will appear here and on the listing pages; until they do we have no reporting channel to point you to, and we say so rather than name one that nobody answers. We review listings ourselves and may remove any of them, but we do not act as an arbitrator between you and another user and we take no position on the merits of a commercial dispute.

If we remove your listing or suspend your account, we tell you the reason and you may contest the decision through the same channel once it is published. A person, not an automated process, reviews the contest, and we restore access where the decision was wrong.

Disputes about a transport contract are between you and your counterparty. International carriage by road is governed by the CMR Convention, which sets its own liability rules and time limits; we are not a party to that contract and cannot settle a claim under it.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Lithuania. Where you use the exchange as a consumer, the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence continue to apply.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the exchange evolves. Material changes are marked with a new version, and continued use of the exchange after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
